Our Suppliers

When we began, we sourced bread from bakeries all over London for our brews.

As we’ve grown, so has the amount of bread we use – we currently use 280kg (9,400 slices) per batch.

So now we source the bread for our bottled beers from a large sandwich manufacturer, Adelie Foods.

Adelie Foods creates over 3 million Food To Go products a week, including sandwiches, at their five factories across the UK. The heel end of loaves that don’t go into their sandwiches are usually sent for animal feed, but small batches are now segregated and delivered to our brewers in Yorkshire once a month.

When we collaborate on new beers,

our bread is sourced from suppliers local to the brewery

Our Bristol brews with Wiper and True and King Street Brew House

used loaves from the Real Wrap Company and Hobbs House Bakery.

Our Devon collaboration with St Austell Brewery

used bread baked on-site at the Eden Project.

Our Nottinghamshire collaboration with Lincoln Green Brewery

used bread from Melton Foods

Melton Foods also supplied bread for our early brews at Hambleton Ales

Our Sussex collaboration with Franklins Brewing Co

used bagels from Bagelman.

Our on-going London collaboration with Essex Street Brewery

uses bread from The Flour Station.

We’re often contacted by bakeries looking for a good home for their surplus bread but we’re unable to take new supplies at the moment. Consider listing on Olio or contacting your local brewery and asking them to collaborate with us.
