Good Company

Good Company

We've joined forces with our social enterprise friends at Change Please to launch our first taproom experience.

Good Company (GoodCompany.London and on Instagram at GoodCompanyLDN) is serving life-saving coffee by day and planet-saving beer by night, helping fight homelessness and food waste.

Change Please aims to end homelessness through great tasting coffee. All its profits go towards giving people experiencing homelessness a fresh shot at life. They train people to become specialty coffee baristas and support them to turn their lives around with a living wage job, housing, therapy, a bank account and onward employment opportunities.

We host barista training with Change Please for members of the homeless community, helping increase the number of lives the coffee company can change.

Everything we source and serve will be from companies having a positive impact on the world.

Good Company serves pastries and cakes by Breadwinners, a social enterprise helping refugees. Lunch and dinner service currently includes a selection of sandwiches and salads, plus hot pies by the B Corp Pieminster. We'll also be bringing exciting food collaborations for Taproom evenings (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

The drinks menu includes the full range of Toast beers, as well as carefully selected guest beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from B Corps and social enterprises. We're kicking off with a couple of surplus bread beers brewed in collaboration with the all female brewery Gebrouwen Door Vrouwen. We'll also have beer by Tap Social Movement, a craft brewery that provides training and employment to people currently serving or recently released from prison sentences, and delicious ciders by B Corp Sxollie.

Good Company aims to be more than just a place to drink great coffee, beer and other drinks, it will also host regular events, including talks and film screenings. We want to host events that bring sustainability and social responsibility to life, making the space a hub for progressive businesses. We'd love to hear what you'd like to see - help us to shape the schedule.

We also hire out Good Company for private events on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings. Read more about our private hire events here.

As part of our commitment to zero waste, we've reused furniture and equipment left behind by the previous cafe that closed during covid lockdowns. We're also sourcing second hand furniture to fill the space, particularly the outside area that offers a great space to enjoy a drink and something to eat in the pedestrianised space at the heart of British Land’s Regent’s Place campus.

The space is also energy efficient, using occupancy sensors to minimise energy use, and uses 100% renewable electricity. We have a comprehensive recycling program and a zero waste policy for food waste. We use Too Good to Go who enable the sale of discounted surplus cafe food to customers through its app, and Bio-bean who collect spent coffee grounds to create coffee logs for heating.

Come to see us for a beer and bite to eat soon. We're at 17-19 Triton Street, London NW1 3BF, near Warren Street and Gt Portland St tube stations. We're open from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with extended opening for the taproom to 10pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

We look forward to raising a Toast with you in person soon.

And remember, if you can't make it to the taproom in person, you can enjoy Toast Ale at home.

Cheers!
