Tristram is an author and campaigner on the environmental and social impacts of food production, and founded both Toast and our charity partner Feedback.
Rob has founded a number of social change organisations and led Ashoka supporting social entrepreneurs to scale their system changing enterprises. He’s been advising Toast since our inception in late 2015 and is now leading the business as our CEO.
Louisa is a chartered management accountant and was previously a sustainability consultant at the Carbon Trust and a Digital Mum. She led the ground work to set-up Toast in 2015 and now manages our finances whilst being responsible for our PR and comms.
Chief Brand & Finance Officer
Julie has worked in buying for several leading food retailers and more recently advised food start-ups on their plans for growth. She joined Toast at the start of 2016 and manages our operations, from sourcing bread and planning brews to ensuring our beer gets to our customers.
Production and Sales Manager
David has a background in retail, joining Waitrose as a graduate, progressing to store manager, and latterly managing business change projects. He joined Toast in 2017 to manage our relationships with a fast-growing list of stockists around the UK.
Customer Relationship Manager
Derek has over 40 years of brewing experience, including managing breweries for Heineken and Whitbread. He is also a qualified beer sommelier. He answered our call for a master brewer in 2016 and now helps us to refine and develop new recipes and quality control our brews.
Brewer in Residence
Paul is an award winning entrepreneur and author. He founded organic baby food brand Ella’s Kitchen built upon a core social mission. It’s now the UK’s largest. His book is: ‘Little Wins: The Huge Power of Thinking Like a Toddler’.
Serge has owned and managed industrial businesses in the Netherlands and UK. His current business is Husky - smart refrigeration. Serge helps social entrepreneurs develop their businesses and co-founded LUTA, a martial arts clothing business born out of Fight For Peace.
Jon has 20 years sales and marketing experience in consumer goods with more than half of that time in drinks working with leading brands such as Heineken, Strongbow and Red Bull.
