Microbrewery

We’re thrilled to announce we’re opening a microbrewery at an amazing new venue in Milton Keynes. The brewery is part of a new, multi-functional destination - Unity Place. 

Our Head Brewer Stuart and new Lead Brewer for this site, Ben (who has joined us from Fullers), are beavering away to get the microbrewery site up and running. The brew kit has been installed with the help of SSV. The 5HL brew-bloc turnkey kit will be the heartbeat of our operation.

Stuart and Ben are nearly finished commissioning the kit (testing and cleaning) ready for some exciting production trials. And we couldn’t be more pumped for the beers that’ll be pouring soon. As well as our delicious core range of craft beers, we will be brewing limited edition draught beers on a regular basis. 

Our new microbrewery gives us the opportunity to experiment like never before. We’ll produce  epic speciality beers, as well as brewing up some great new collaborations in the future. 

We’ll be continuing to brew with our signature surplus bread (of course) and looking forward to working with the on-site bakery, the Baker’s Room to use their leftover loaves. We’re over the moon to have this circular solution right on the doorstep.

Designed and built over eight floors, Unity Place is hosting spaces for renowned chefs, local eateries, social enterprises, business ventures and event facilities. Our incredible core beer range is already available on tap at the Sky Lounge roof terrace and in the Urban Food Market. 

So if you’re in the area (it’s less than a three-minute walk from Milton Keynes Central train station) do stop by for a cheeky pint. And if it’s too early for a beer, grab a coffee from our social enterprise and Good Company mates at the Change Please Tuk Tuk.

The Unity Place building runs on green energy and the rooftop holds over 400 PV solar panels for the building’s cooling and heating needs. They’re also on track to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating for environmental performance (a world-leading, science-based certification for sustainably built buildings). Partnering with like-minded businesses is so important to us, and Unity Place’s ethos on the environment made this opportunity an absolute no-brainer!
